Netflix Picks: Christmas Movies by Andrea Nasfell

December 21, 2012

Christmas with Cap CThere are lots of Christmas movies out there, but it can be difficult to find ones you like. It just so happens I have an inside track on Christmas movies this year! My friend Andrea Nasfell has two out – on Netflix and in Redbox, as well.

The first one I watched is from last year, Christmas with a Capital C. I liked the whole thing – all the actors, the story, the whole movie. But I particularly loved the interaction between the two brothers. They were so funny and interesting and believable that I wouldn't be surprised to hear they are really brothers! LOL!

Now just to warn you, if you couldn't tell by the title, this is a movie about Christ and Christmas. Very cool. Not over the top. Just showing a group of people with different opinions trying to figure out how to enjoy the holidays together.

I liked it so much, I think I'll watch it again next Christmas!

My rating is 5 stars (Loved It, per Netflix ratings system)

Christmas AngelChristmas Angel is the movie Andrea wrote that came out this year around Thanksgiving. I love several of the actors in this one, too. Della Reese is one of my all-time favorites, and she even sang in this movie! Ah, happy Kitty. 🙂

I really liked the story a lot – Christmas wishes and angels and miracles and love – awesome! But there were some bits where I thought the acting wasn't great and that kicked me out of the story a bit.

Overall, it was worth the time and made me feel like Christmas is in the air.

My rating is 4 stars (Really Liked It)

Andrea, if you're reading this, thanks for making my Christmas that much more fun! 🙂

Merry Christmas, everyone!
