John started watching this sit-com quite awhile ago, and he and others told me it was funny. We turned on episode one to see if I would like it and I did. Arrested Development is an odd show, full of quirky, selfish characters. But it's funny.

The title is a play on words that I didn't understand until I watched it. The father in the family gets arrested for fraud, and just about every member of the family is immature – their development as human beings has been arrested due to their previous circumstances as spoiled rich people.

If you like laughing at other people, you'll like Arrested Development. Or if you just need 22 minutes of silliness, turn it on.
