Hey, I'm Kitty Bucholtz, and

I’d love to help you! I absolutely believe that you and I can write books that change the world. It may even be our calling, our purpose in life.

That’s why I created the Finish Your Books Coaching Program.

Over the next three or six months, you and I can work together to help you finish writing your book and get it ready to send out into the world, whether through the traditional route by finding an agent to represent you to a traditional publisher or by pointing the way to learning how to self-publish.

Finish Your Books 1:1 Coaching

If you’d like to work with me one-to-one, we’ll meet twice a month over six months. Each 60-minute session will be tailored to you and your needs. Having trouble figuring out what happens next? We’ll do some brainstorming together. Frustrated with how little writing you’re getting done? We’ll talk about your other responsibilities and how you can manage your time to make sure the writing happens. I’ll even read your chapters and give you feedback along the way! Plus, you’ll have access to me for quick questions via WhatsApp.

In Finish Your Books Group Coaching, you’ll learn my WHOLE PATH system for not only finishing this book, but growing as a person, and preparing yourself for the books ahead! Meeting together every week for three or six months, we’ll look at:

The Whole Path

  • Writing – arguably the most important part of the writer’s life! We’ll focus on how you can get more words on the page, and how you can make them better along the way.
  • Heart and Soul – where our ideas are influenced. Who are you on the deepest level? Why do you want to write what you write? And how can you be more connected to this creative source?
  • Organization – how we keep track of all of our ideas, research, family trees, and more. Have you already misplaced where you wrote down a great idea? How does your brain capture and save information, and how can you make that work for you?
  • Laughter – the secret sauce to staying creative. Neuroscience is showing us what we already know, happier people get more done and “play” helps our brains stay healthy. But how does that fit into a busy writer’s life?
  • Economics – this is the “show me the money” area. What are your financial goals when it comes to your writing? How much money can you budget for writing tools, classes and conferences, books on craft, and how do you know what’s essential and what’s just nice to have? If you write down a budget, you never need to feel guilty about what you spend again.
  • People – the ones you love and the ones you can’t get away from. No matter if you’re an extrovert or an introvert, you have people in your life who don’t want to be ignored. Maybe a spouse or partner, children, boss and coworkers, neighbors and church friends, even extended family need some time from you a few times a year. How can you finish your book without damaging your relationships?
  • Accountability – keep moving, one step at a time. This can work differently for different people on different days. Sometimes you need the carrot, the reward for getting it done. Sometimes you need the stick, no Netflix until you finish your daily goal. But always, having a like-minded group support you and celebrate with you will get you further, faster.
  • Time – one of the levelers in life, we all get the same amount. But how do some people accomplish so much and others feel like they’re not getting the important stuff done? How do you choose what to spend time on and what to say “goodbye for now” in order to free up more time?
  • Health – like people, one of the things we can’t take for granted. What healthy habits will help you write creative books for years to come? And what habits could break you? How can you manage time for writing and time for the things that will keep you on track to hit your goals? And if you already have some health challenges to work around, how can you get more and better writing done as well?

These are the main elements of the wonderful and full life we all want to live. Over the 30+ years of my own writing journey, I’ve learned – often the hard way! – how important these areas are, and just how long you can ignore them before you lose something important to you. I’m so excited to share with you what I’ve learned, and to encourage you and the other writers in our group to share what’s working for each of us. 

In addition to teaching you the WHOLE PATH System, I’ll also make time for Q&A at the end of each of our weekly calls. We’ll have dedicated Hot Seat calls so you can share your biggest problems and immediately get a slew of potential solutions in a 15-minute “all about you” session with the group. Ask anything you want about your story, characters, settings, plot problems, or about time management, finding an agent, staying healthy, or any other issues you need help with. You’ll also have access to me for quick questions via WhatsApp!

If you’ve been thinking about writing a book and are ready to get started, this program will help you start strong and finish faster than you could have imagined. Kitty will help you understand the process regardless of whether you know exactly what you want to write or you’re still figuring it out.

If you’ve already written one or several books, you’ll find that the support of a community of like-minded writers will give you such added confidence and enthusiasm that you write faster than ever. Your joy in writing will undoubtedly grow, and your stress levels will decrease as we work together to write books that change the world.

This program is for writers who are serious or want to get more serious about their craft. It doesn’t matter if you want to publish or not, or what kind of writing you are focused on. The WHOLE PATH System will help you create a well-rounded life that centers around you and your gifts and how you can share them best with the world.

As with most things in life, having the tools to build something doesn’t mean much if you don’t set aside time to do the work to build it. This program will give you the tools, teach you how to use them, encourage you and support you and cheer you on. You’ll likely find yourself writing more, but how much depends on how you’ve applied the tools. Remember that in addition to helping you write more, the program is also designed to help you find more joy and peace in the process. The goal is to become the best version of you that you can as well as becoming a better writer!

Enrollment in the program is ongoing, so you can start at any time. If you want to take advantage of special pricing, you must start the program within three (3) months of paying for it. The program will end after your term unless you wish to continue.

You will have access to all of the program materials including recorded programing, recordings of live meetings, guides, checklists, and more, for the term of your membership. After that, you may renew and continue to participate in living training and have access to all new material or, if you choose not to renew, you will continue to have access for life to the materials that were available during your membership.

Since the program is designed around weekly live coaching, not just a series of recorded videos, we can’t offer a long refund period.
