There are lots of Christmas movies out there, but it can be difficult to find ones you like. It just so happens I have an inside track on Christmas movies this year! My friend Andrea Nasfell has two out – on Netflix and in Redbox, as well.
The first one I watched is from last year, Christmas with a Capital C. I liked the whole thing – all the actors, the story, the whole movie. But I particularly loved the interaction between the two brothers. They were so funny and interesting and believable that I wouldn't be surprised to hear they are really brothers! LOL!
Now just to warn you, if you couldn't tell by the title, this is a movie about Christ and Christmas. Very cool. Not over the top. Just showing a group of people with different opinions trying to figure out how to enjoy the holidays together.
I liked it so much, I think I'll watch it again next Christmas!
My rating is 5 stars (Loved It, per Netflix ratings system)
Christmas Angel is the movie Andrea wrote that came out this year around Thanksgiving. I love several of the actors in this one, too. Della Reese is one of my all-time favorites, and she even sang in this movie! Ah, happy Kitty. 🙂
I really liked the story a lot – Christmas wishes and angels and miracles and love – awesome! But there were some bits where I thought the acting wasn't great and that kicked me out of the story a bit.
Overall, it was worth the time and made me feel like Christmas is in the air.
My rating is 4 stars (Really Liked It)
Andrea, if you're reading this, thanks for making my Christmas that much more fun! 🙂
Merry Christmas, everyone!
