Here's another one of my all-time favorite movies, and I recently found it on Netflix. Last Holiday rocks! It's Queen Latifah and who doesn't love her? LL Cool J is also cute and funny as her love interest.
But the best part of the story isn't the love story – though that's very cute! The best part is how Queen Latifah's character Georgia Byrd goes from the shy, careful introvert she's always been to a confident, mature woman who stands up for herself and others.
It's a brilliant story well-told and well-acted. There are so many funny parts to make you laugh out loud. I've seen this movie so many times, I should buy it some day. Meanwhile, if you haven't seen Last Holiday – or haven't seen it lately – check it out on Netflix. It'll become one of your favorite romantic comedies!
