RESULTS: Gained 2 pounds for a total loss of 26 pounds
At this point, it's just a matter of “keep on trying, don't give up.” I've gained back a total of 5 pounds from my lowest point a few months ago. That's not good. But if I'd given up and stopped trying, it would be far worse.
The biggest problem has been stress from moving and other related struggles, and now we're moving again so we're having goodbye lunches and dinners. Plus, we're saying, Oh, let's eat this and that because we won't have it in New Zealand.
(Did you hear? We're moving to New Zealand in less than a month! John was hired at his dream job, Weta Digital!)
So, yes, I bought one more box of Cap'n Crunch Peanut Butter cereal and one more box of Pop Tarts. John actually picked my favorite flavor (brown sugar cinnamon) instead of his (probably chocolate fudge) – isn't he sweet? In fact, I had a bowl of Cap'n Crunch just a few minutes ago – yum!
And even though my running has been almost non-existent because of all the errands I've had to run buying boxes, taking things to the thrift store, and a million other things, I'm determined to run tomorrow morning. (You heard it here first! Check Facebook to see if I managed it. I sure hope so!)
With a blog, it's usually quite difficult to tell if anyone is really reading what you write, and if it makes any impact at all on the world. But I've heard in a few comments here, and in a few comments when I see friends in person, that you guys do find something good or useful in my blogs. So long as I keep thinking that's true, I'll keep writing. 🙂
I was also told by two different people that posting my struggles and failures and comebacks is encouraging, too. So here's to a comeback next week! For all of us! 🙂 Love you guys!
